The cost is based on the amount of material, it was $90 originally but the shell was too thin and weak and was warped when cured. I had the designer bump up the thickness to where it would be strong enough to handle with a chassis attached to it. I would really like to find another service to have this done by, a better 3d printing service, or an injection moulding company.

Anyone have any ideas? A small injection molding company? Anything to get this produced.

In 1 of the latest MR mags, there was a listing of printing companies. Hope this helps.

You would think for that cost the printing wouldn't show the layering in the finished product. That's what kills me on printing still today. It's a really nice model to just let go so I hope you find something to make this happen.
