Ok havent posted anything in a while as life has been busy but here is a project I finished a few weeks ago. IORY GP22ECO #2200 & IORY E4S #2000. 2200 started out as a L&N Atlas GP40, I added a Atlas GP40-2 dynamic brake hatch with a Athearn SD50 exhasut stack added, Proto 2000 GP/SD60 radiator fans, cannon radiator compartment doors cut down to size to represent the new fan relay cabinet under the engineer's side radiators, Atlas GP38-2 truck sideframes, Atlas GP40-2 coupler cut levers, BLMA RV A/C, atlas "chessie" rock plow, details west speed recorder & K5LA ABF on a braket. IORY GP22ECO #2200 2000 started out as a Undec Atlas GP38. I modeled this slug as is it were originally a high hood, so I moved the sand filler hatch to the edge of the short hood to give it the appearence of being chop nose, SOU style sunshades, SOU bell & bracket on the rear hood, BLMA RV A/C's & class light covers on the rear hood, added a short Atlas SD35 fuel tank and blanked the fuel filler on it, plano 48' welded style fans covers on the rear hood, & simply sanded then used spot putty to fill in the rear radiators & short hood battery box doors, details west speed recorder & K5LA ABF on a bracket IORY E4S #2000 What do you think? Very nice job on these. To bad noone makes that big planet earth that is on the sides of the KCS ones. That would look cool on those engines also..
Only one question I have, the electrical cabinet behind the cab of the 2200,did they replace those on the ECO's with the larger -2 cabinet? Just wondering..

Excellent models sir. One question. Who made the air conditioners? Thanks, Shane BLMA makes the A/C units. They're called "RV" A/C's...

Yes the A/C's are from BLMA but I modified them so that they are now "Low Profile". They are actually 2 piece snapped together & a well place exacto blade and split the A/C units in half......
