Just to share a few pics of another kitbash (i.e. mainly modifying the pilots and wheels). A prototype pic is used for reference. A GP9 from USA Trains shows the original pilot. All the under-scale stock wheels have been replaced with nwsl 40-inch wheels; this close-up shows how they look after the replacement. The GP9 had large openings on its pilots which have been filled up with styrene sheets, coupler pockets, air-hoses & steam conduits scratchbuilt. In addition to the pilots, some add-ons have also been added (e.g. builder's plate decals, speed recorder, etc.) A firecracker type antenna is installed on the cab roof. The original couplers have been replaced with Precision Scale's working couplers. The finsihed GP9. Thanks for looking.

That looks fantastic. The pilots look much better now. Love those couplers, though the rear coupler is backward.
