I hope to have these on the bench at least started this year. -even if I don't finish all the others. Here are 3 shells I bought undecorated for specific purposes. The SD40-2 to do that frankenstein project... -I didn't forget... the C32 will become a B32-8, BN of course and the GP35 will become a former ATSF GP35u (now BNSF).

My latest freight car project. These are all PC&F 50 foot double door SP/SSW cars. I'm currently in the paint and decal stages with them, and am experimenting with gouache for weathering. Bear with me, I've got some loco projects on the horizon (this is the Diesel Detailer after all : . Mike Lozensky

Dan- Please keep us (me!) up on the B32-8 build! I too have a C32 shell that I had the intentions of doing the same; but I don't know where to start! Pix are few and far between, so any help here would be appreciated Mike- Seriously, I'm with Chris; still waiting to see those SDL39s! Randy- Looks like all your girls need is paint.....humidity has dropped by now, right? Nudge, nudge..... Rick

Guys, As soon as I get a replacement camera, I'll be posting some undec shots. I lost my camera last week-end in east Texas. So if any of our forum Texicans in the Longview and Gainesville areas find a Sony Cyber-shot 5.1MP wandering around let me know.

rick, Dan Raitz (GO NAVY!!!) is doing an awsome job on a C-32-8 as well. Once again I benefit from seeing how the pros get it done. As far as where to cut the shell down, there is an article that details that whole process. It's kinda light on some of the other details we'd add, but I think that's because it's an older mag. Anyway it's: Model Railroading September 1990.

Here is what I have for the undecorated theme. Santa Fe GP40X 3806 Santa Fe SD45-2 5820 Santa Fe Dash 8-40CW 844 SD45T-2 not sure what road number yet but it will go back into Kodachrome. OK so these may not technically be undecorated since they are plated but hopefully they count since you would not want them any closer to being undecorated. They still need some paint work and need to be lettered. They are both for the business car fleet with the left one to become Atchison and the right will become a Regal series car

Paul Thanks, It will probably become 6770 or 9319. I like the weathering on 9319 better but I could not find any roof shots.
