Hey Lance! I wish I could help you with that but this unit will not be getting a plow. I'm sorry about that I wish I could give you some pointers.
Quick general update: She's painted and decaled. Still in gloss and recieving final details before flat finish. Will post pics soon hopefully!

Well guys I've got two prepainted Athearn SD38's (one is the SD38AC) and they will be running with her. As for handrails Paul, I plan on using a mixture of the factory handrails with mostly drilled stanchoins and .015 brass wire. Uncle Jay, unfortunately I hated how the stock Proto couplers looked sticking way the hell out there and pretty much making the pilot look terrible. I built my own coupler mounts and put on the Details West coupler pockets meant for the Athearn SD40-2. After getting that looking good I realized I have no way to mount the body to the frame. I guess I will have to figure that one out. My deadline is this Thursday night so I've got a lot of work ahead of me!

Looks Awsome Mo! Doesn't the frame have a small screw mount to hold the body on? I thought mine did but I might be thinking of a different model.

Hey Mo,
Looks good, what are the winterization windows from? MLE??? I like how they look. The OMI version looks really shabby compared to those you used.

Yup and SUPER user friendly. These things are the greatest gem I've found in HO details in a long time.
