Made some progress on my Christmas present, an undec Atlas GP38. This will be a former Pennsylvania Reading Seashore Lines loco with the extended cab. Basically, all I've done so far is follow Brian Banna's fantastic instructions on how to kitbash two Cannon cabs into the extended cab. You can find them here: www.6axlepwr.com/CC_CAB_3.htmlAnd the photos: I had to shim under the cab because it was slightly shorter than the Atlas cab and therefore didn't meet the roofline. I think it came together quite nicely for my first Cannon cab build.

Definitely going to be Conrail. Haven't decided yet whether it will be patched out PRSL or in full CR blue.

That's odd, I saw them about an hour ago? Hmmm, must be a system glitch?

I think it's something to do with this forum rather than my Photobucket account. My signature works fine over on the Atlas forum. It's the same picture.

Since the update the word "come" was added to the censored word list. It was probably taken as sexual slang. The pics are back up now.

Yeah, basically my username for both here and my Photobucket account was altered by the censorship, so the URL's for my pictures wouldn't load. All fixed.

Nice Job Rudy. I assume you used Cannon 1502 cabs. I also model EARLY CR but will leave them in PRSL and dirty them up as was prototypical-No Wash Racks!!!!

Tom Kidd Yup, they're the 35/40 line (non -2) cabs. This project and most of my other ones have basically been stalled out for the rest of the year while I work on my honors project.

Feel like building a second cab and sell it? Not really.... but you can follow Brian Banna's instructions for building your own, which is what I did: www.6axlepwr.com/CC_CAB_3.htmlHa!

For those that don't want to hack up a pair of Cannon cabs, here's how Joe Atkinson did it with a pair of Atlas cabs: www.iaisrailfans.org/info/Modeling600NOTE - the model is painted for the "correct" road, but "incorrect" era (post 1999 appearance)
