unfortunately this site can not host its own photos. You have to mount them on a remote site and link them to this site.

is it possible to post photos here, without using photobucket?? Many of us have abandoned Photobucket two years ago because of their new policy$$$.
They've been crap, threatening users of deleting their picture database if they didn't pay for membership. A recent check showed that they haven't deleted, and are still displaying mines pictures in forums I used to feed, but it is no longer accessible for free.
I use Flick'r, but you must register to a Yahoo e-mail first. It is a bit tricky to figure out for a beginner, but once you get used to it, it works perfect, and is very professional, as it is very artist-oriented. You can separate your picture database by albums and add several features. Then you are limited to 1000 pictures (per account, but that doesn't prevent you from opening a supplemental yahoo e-mail, then Flick'r account).
And yes, it's free.

there are several low dollar ones too if your goal is to avoid the cost of PB. There may be (prolly are) lower cost ones than what I chose, but I have converted to pBase with good results. About $20 a year for their smallest account which is massive for my purposes.
