Good Afternoon Everyone!
I apparently never posted here, though I SWEAR I did even though I registered back in 2016 ROFL. I had been on Protomodeler as well, but I see that has shut down.
I'm in Ohio within spitting distance of the NS Chicago line. Have always loved trains and have always been into Model Railroading. I got a Lionel Set and had been all about O scale until the early 2000s where I started to get into HO. Then I went to College. There I started with N to fit in the Dorm rooms. Now fast forward a few years I'm at a place where I have a space to spread so to speak. HO is still my main goal, but I'll be hopefully having a small N scale Layout to fill the void and hopefully some HO scale Dioramas.
I've got lots of ideas for projects and will be hopefully posting when I can get some work going. MoW is my main focus, and I have a proto Freelance railroad I am developing as well.
Happy to be here and finally to introduce myself rofl!

Yeah, sorry about Protomodeler. The software vendor did one more round of forced updates that destroyed the formatting, and we just didn't have the energy to reformat again, so we let the electric bill lapse.

Thanks I'm working on getting some things going and will post as I can. Ive got some freight car projects and a couple of Diorama Ideas swirling around my head at the moment. I had an small N scale layout in College that I'm either going to finish OR expand now that I have some room.
Thanks Slowfreight, so that's what happened. No worries I can understand and appreciate that and know how much work can go into that as I've done web coding my self. However, if protomodeler came here then I'm in the right place! It is hard to find a good forum sometimes, so glad I found this one!

New member .just joined, been in the hobby since the mid 70s. I was wondering dose any current member remember the post on this site about doing an SD18{C&O}. Planning on attempting to do two. A company by the name of CMR has come out with shells for such a model with and without DB. Supposedly they will fit on an Atlas SD24 chassie. The shell are very similar to RPP shells, you get just the shells,no additionall parts. Just thought I would inquire
