Thanks for all the positive feedback everyone. With this one in the rear view mirror I'm scheming on what will be the next one to go with it. You mean like other weird MKT power, or like the next Kennecott vista cab unit that wasn't rebuilt? Asking for a friend...

Unfortunately I don't have any use for Katy switchers at this time. Most of the Katy I focus on is north of Ney Yard (Fort Worth) and south of the Red River. I might be able to persuade a friend who models Dallas in the 60s to pick up one of those NW2s though.

Cool look to those Katys-are those classlights on the roof and long hood end?A search on that site only shows them as katy units..those lights sure remind me of Canadian National.
