Hello all, I have placed several orders with Eric Courtney in the past and always had an impeccable service. He was usually prompt to ship and would notify me if some items were unavailable. But I have placed an order on January 11th, then sent an e-mail over a week ago but still no reply. Makes me wonder if he is having health issues, in trouble or so. Can someone tell me if they are in the same situation? Stephane

OK, just got a reply. Sounds like we lost a package somewhere. Awesome service as usual. I'm glad I haven't lost my favorite parts supplier

I found him very much in business too, but the Canadian post office is sloooooow. I lost about a month waiting on a parts order, but it did eventually show.

Well I'm glad to hear he is still in business.
I once heard from a hobby shop that they did not like him for that matter, but personally, I prefer slow shipping to nothing at all. He may not be retired yet, and has a day job which only allows him to ship over weekends (truck driver, mining ?), I don't know.
Still, he is a valuable supplier for us Canadian modelers, and even more for a brass fan as I am.

When I emailed him, he said that he's basically working full-time at MBE right now. But apparently getting a tracking number from the Canadian post office is pretty expensive, so I'm ok just waiting. The real delay seems to be at customs, so the hoseheads among us shouldn't have the same headaches I did.
