Here is a recently completed project I've been working on. It's a Elgin Joliet & Eastern caboose that started from an Atlas HO scale undecorated standard cupola caboose.
I used a International Car cupola kit from Moloco. The cupola had to be repositioned toward the end of the car to better represent the EJ&E. In turn, that meant reworking the roof and sides. The end railing assemblies were replaced with brass wire and Plano ladder details.
Decals from Highball Graphics completed the job. Look closely and you'll notice that rear left window on the cupola was damaged by a rock thrown by a vandal.

Outstanding model! The broken window gives it some nice character. Whoever threw that rock must have had a good arm.
