As mentioned in the 'upcoming projects' I decided to build Davenport-Besler's #2244 of 1938, a quadruple diesel, streamlined switcher becoming P&PU #200. A pair of USA-Trains GE 44t (one garbage and one already stripped for a truck of a McKeen car) supplied the basic parts for this kitbashing. A first look onto the unit's basic (sub-)construction - as all my projects, an ugly beginning.... The next step will be application of layer's of glass fiber with resin Regards Norman

A very impressive transformation. You're right the basic shell does look rather crude, I was wondering how it would end up looking. Truly impressive work. Can't wait to see further updates.
