I'm not a fan of the tagging, but you have done an excellent job on your cars. Thanks for sharing!!

working in a yard, i rarily see rail cars that ARENT all graffiti'd.. i think in order to do prototypical realism, graffiti is a must.

I have to admit though, as much as i hate graffiti... some of the art is amazing. wish i was allowed to have my phone on me so i could snap some pics
to the OP.... those cars are amazing! love the accuracy of brass over plastic. Athearn Genesis does a decent job. But those are better

I have to admit though, as much as i hate graffiti... some of the art is amazing. wish i was allowed to have my phone on me so i could snap some pics to the OP.... those cars are amazing! love the accuracy of brass over plastic. Athearn Genesis does a decent job. But those are better I know, some of them are disgusting. But I like to have my stuff as close to reality as it can get. And graffitis are a must in my opinion, like them or not. I have recently registered to the Rustbucket and am avidly reading tutorials about weathering techniques. It's amazing how weathering can add a totally new dimension to the hobby, even to die cast models too. I will eventually post better pictures of these cars from our railroad club, with good daylight, which my basement has not. I like brass cars (and locos for instance) as they allow for details that could be feasible with plastic, but would be just too prone to be damaged. Yes, one can glue it back, but it is much easier to lose parts from plastic cars than brass ones. And I can solder brass too if I happen to drop a car. It's just sad that they cost 5 times the price a plastic car... Hence why only 10% of my fleet is brass. S.
