Heavily referencing a Luc Nowlan build for this one. I never thought it would be a terribly difficult build to begin with, given that all the panels are square, but I always hesitated on starting one. After seeing one built in plastic using a Kaslo cab and pilots though, I figured it was time.

Very interesting Taylor. What are you going to use for the frame?

I'm probably going to just build one. The inside of the shell is a huge space so I can put lead sheets in everywhere. This will never run solo so it doesn't really have to pull much.

Eagles for inspiration?

I recently discovered that there's a lot more to the Eagles than Hotel California.

Those guys were too much talent in one room. They were BION, Linda Ronstadt's backup musicians. Yuck, glad they broke out of that funk...

I've also been on a big Warren Zevon kick lately.

I recently dug up some King Crimson. Their 1969 debut album is awesome! (the rest so-so)

Hi Taylor, Cool looking build. You could use a Bowser C630 chassis for it. You can get one of the american C630s for a song nowadays, and just plop those Bowser Dofasco trucks on there...

Taylor,
I may know where you can get a C630 frame if you need one ;-)

'nother shot from this evening. Exhaust stack, plate over as delivered stack location, and rooftop rad assembly added. The fan was scratchbuilt after realizing 30 seconds after gluing down the cover that a fan was indeed visible. Better late than never

HR-616 coming along nicely with the addition of rad shutters and a Bowser C630 frame and proper Dofasco trucks. Hoping to have this ready for paint in time for the Truro RPM this June. Don't care so much if it is painted though.
