I haven't posted any builds on here in a LONNNNG time so here goes. I am working on a 3rd GP22ECO slug set for my Indana & Ohio Railway. I started out with a Atlas Silver Series GP40 in Loram Rail Grinder scheme and a Family Lines GP38 which I got cheap of ebay as it was missing everything under the shell.
The GP40(Future GP22ECO) as of now has the new doors added under the rear radiators on the engineer's side(fan relay doors I believe) these were done using cannon radiator compartment doors without latches just cut to fit the height, also removed the class lights on both ends of the unit as well as added Athearn Q fans to the roof. I removed the factory GP40 Dynamic brake hatch and replaced it with a Atlas Phase II GP40-2 Dynamic hatch which has been modified with a Athearn SD50 exhaust stack being added after cutting off the old stack.
The GP38 (Future E4S EMD 4axle Slug) as of now has the radiators all covered over as well as the radiator fans and class lights . I also have plated over both battery box doors and replaced the dynamic hatch with a GP40 hatch with the exhaust stack filled in and I also added a cannon brass doors for extended range Dynamic brakes. I added a Atlas SD35 fuel tank with the fuel filler holes filled in and new air tanks added.
This Slug set will join my 2 others once they are done IORY Slug sets 2200-2000 & 2201-2001. These are mostly based of the Norfolk Southern GP22ECO's & there Road Slugs

Howdy, excellent models! One comment, though- It looks like you blanked over/removed the opening on top of the inertial filter hatch. This should be retained, as evidenced in the following photo: www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1817057Love what you've done with these so far, perhaps some day when I have time I can get around to one or two of these... <sigh> Keep up the good work!

I know it's been a really long time since this post was made and it's real shame that I cannot see any of the photos the slug said is of interest to me because this is one of my modeling weaknesses. I like doing a lot of original and reproduced prototypes of these types of locomotives could somebody please furnish the photos?
