Hi,
I bought a Big Dawg Originals shell this week and upon arrival, the nose just doesn't look right.. It looks to tall... I haven't measured it yet, but will and will post some pictures. I'm building an ICRR GP10 out of front range and P2K parts and thought this would be a little quicker way to get another one started, but if I have to cut the nose off of it and lower it, it's not really saving me anything.. So, how tall are the Paducah rebuild short hoods?
Thanks,
Stuart

Stuart~
The low nose height on the Paducah geeps is 67". If my calculations are correct [best to double check] that would be .77"

The nose is too tall for sure. Also, the center cab windows sit too high as well. Take a look at other photos, the top of all four windows are not supposed to be in line.

I've posted it on another Forum, but the Big Dawg Originals aren't really originals, they are basically resin shells cloned from other manufacturer's offerings. Sketchy way of doing business at best. Anyway, it appears the short hood on that is a custom modified P2K one that was cloned, so you could probably modify your own P2K one and install it if you can't modify that one. Definitely too tall.
Other parts appear to be cloned from the P2K GP7 (frame), Atlas GP7 (long hood), and Atlas SD24 (cab).
