I'd like to model this unit from a P1000 model I have, the particular prototype did'nt have the B17 windows of most of the other KCS Erie's. Leaving aside truck sideframe problems, what would I use for trainphone stantions/brackets and what wire for the nose mounted 'whip' style aerials? All help appreciated Steve

Jerry The first two pictures are not the same engine as the last two-this is the one I want to model,62A,built originally for Louisiana and Arkansas and lettered for Kansas City Southern Lines. These were later build Erie's with the full size window's. KCS had a wierd system up until around the middle 50's,where any number could be put up in the numberboards,as the first two pics show they don't correspond to the actual unit number. The last two pics show the T/P wires quite well, these are what I want dimensions for. Thanks again Steve
