I've got a bunch of covered hoppers I'm building that I will be painting at some point in the future. As I'm assembling them, I'm leaving the end "cages" off to allow for better painting/weathering. Since the clearances are somewhat tight around the end details, even without the cages, how is the best way to limit the flow of paint to prevent excessive buildup? Air pressure, short bursts from the airbrush? My concern is I don't want to the paint to be drying before hitting the model if the air pressure is insufficient nor have excessive build up.
For reference, I use a Badger 200 airbrush, and tru-color paints.
