Because GE used to be known for making toasters. I know most of the crews up here on the N&W called them "Toasters".

There are questions about a frame for this engine. I don't have the capabilities to do it but what about someone designing a frame and fuel tank on shapeways or something. Also allowing for a drop in of a bowser C630m motor and trucks.

I'm pretty confident the Bowser trucks will fit on an Atlas C40 frame with little to no mods...anyone want to lend me a C40 chassis to experiment?

How do you cut the brass sheet for these frames, Eric? Hi Taylor. I've X-Acto nife for the stairt cut. The sides notch and the hole for the truck assembly have been done the old fashion way. Dremel with cutting blande. Some days, I will get a milling machine. This one is only a test and looking very good to me.
