There was already likely a thread regarding this matter in the past over this forum... Just a curio as to why the good folks at the former Proto 2000 camp produced cabs with different sized windows, i.e on P2K GP 60 models the window dims are approx: 7.75mm height X 10.85mm width, while on P2K SD 50/60 models measure approx. 8.00 mm height X 10.45mm width. Any thoughts or guesses as to why?
Aside, don't get me wrong, I like the Proto cabs very much and wish that Cannon molded their cab kits in much the same thickness, they look very nice with AMB's laser kit windows installed! Also very nice durability.

Not the answer you're likely looking for, but it always appeared to me that to some extent Life-Like tooled each new model virtually from scratch, and didn't use a 'parts bin' approach where they re-used common parts like cabs between models. Why, I don't know but it could be the way the molds were laid out made it easier to have everything for one model together. In the process it also appears that they didn't always carry over plans and dimensions between models, and dimensional differences crept in. One thing that always bugged me is almost every P2K first generation Geep had a different shape and size of dynamic brake blister.
