Hi group, has anyone kitbashed the BCR RS10 #586? I noticed its quite different than the BCR RS18's, well one.... being an RS10 not RS18, the bell is on the long hood, and the chop nose resembles the CPR RS18u's with the hand brake recessed in the nose. Im curious which would be the best base for this unit, the proto units, or the lifelike, could an OMI high nose RS10 be modified easily enough??? Thanks for the information. Corey

DO NOT USE THE LIFELIKE/PROTO 1000! IT has many dimensional errors, where do I begin... Use the Atlas RS32/36 chassis-drive with an Atlas RS11 longhood. You'll need battery boxes from a Stewart RS3 and that should pretty much setup your base to build from. I use the minatures by eric notch corner fills because I'm forever pumping filler to fill the notches otherwise. Parts you'll need for starters C02 B20 L04 N07 www.miniaturesbyeric.com/itmidx3.htmWhile, not an RS10, this is what the longhood config would be similar to: RS32 chassis/deck, RS11 longhood with short doors, and MBE notch fills with MBE numberboards.
