Nice looking unit Bobby! The weathering looks perfect for a UP unit that didn't stray into any of the former SP tunnels

I must admit that I'm not a huge western road fan. Mostly because the western roads, and more specifically UP, are the basis for model manufactures locomotive releases. This means us eastern road guys get the short end of the stick because most of our stuff is UP, SP, BNSF power with our road names on it. Granted, most of my stuff is custom but it just grinds my gears that not many use eastern roads for their base models. Anyway, way off on a tangent here but even though Im not much of a UP fan, this thing looks great!!

Thank you Paulie, I'm glad you like my efforts. I use my wife's I Phone, it works better than my 12.5 mp camera.
Regards, Bobby

Hey Bobby, It's funny how that works sometimes. I have a couple of high dollar VCRS that don't work well at all anymore and my cheezo one still works just fine. Why do I still have them? Well the high dollar ones are VCR / DVD Combo machines and one is a DVD burner, Both DVD work so I use the cheezo VHS to dub train videos I get from Ebay over to DVD on the burner so they don't run the risks of wearing out or getting eaten like some of my best ones from Pentrex did. Point here is your wife's I phone rocks and your High dollar one is well..... high dollar. All kidding aside I really like your prospective on the photos and the modeling on the locomotive is outstanding. I also really liked the specialized tankers you did and posted on Flicker. I had no idea there was such a verity of tank cars out there but I certainly will pay more attention now. You do great work. Paulie

Paulie, there's no end to the variety of tank cars. The sad part is most of the great looking cars have timed out.(The 40 year rule) There are lots of photos out there to keep them alive, and a few models. Thanks again for your kind words.
Regards, Bobby

Well I certainly will be hitting the sites looking for these type of cars to add to my Railroad Photo Collection. I have already added your stuff to the model one. Paulie
