My chessie athearn blue box SD40-2's and GP40-2

Here are a few pics of my somewhat detailed and weatherd chessie dash 2's  They're all athearn blue box kits with details west parts.  Weatherd with powders.    The 7614 had detail work done when I bought it ie hoses and ugly ruby class lights. Can you say 1980's?  The 7610 is a renumbered 7614,  I havent yet redone the number boards.

Nice work. This goes to show that you don't have replace and upgrade every piece of detail on an existing model to get good results.

Very nicely done
Some folks don't like this paint job but I do and light weathering works for me.
