Haha no problem sir. If it were me I'd just straight swap the C32-8s for these rebuilds, it'd save the D&H money as they're simply rebuilds of units they already own. Well I have a C32-8 that I intend tp build so I can run the story that D&H bought C32's in line with the NS purchase of C39's and then sent the U33C's back to GE for conversion to C33M-S7's so they get more new units but at a reduced price. EDIT: I'm going to call them a C32-7E not C33M-S7. I had forgotten they are 12-cylinder and as they are not full Dash-8 they can be Dash-7E. Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

Would make sense to me, D&H being a part of this version of NS they'd likely get orders for new power that'd mirror the parent company.

That's how my roster is currently based but I feel like shaking it up a bit with some interesting re-builds. After all NW turned B&M away from inclusion in Dereco because it was near bankrupt and would be a money pit so I figure they'd wait to save all the money they can with D&H Sent from my GT-I9100 using proboards

That'd be why the Super 7 and 'Super 8' rebuilds would be done on those D&H 6-axle U Boats. Would be a mix of some new power and some old power.

All this sounds good and I have both U33C and a 8-40B shell to get started with. I think I might use the inertia air intake room the 8-40B shell as well, just to give it more of a Dash-8 appearance. It will look right at home next to my C39-8 (when I get around to finishing) and C32-8!
EDIT: These re-builds will be called C32-7E's. Basically a C32-8 on a C30-7 frame with some refurbished equipment.

You need more GE power. The Sd45s were odd balls until we inherited the GP38 and 39s from LV and RDG, then got our own new GP39-2s. But, under CPR, some SD40s and GP9s were actually D&H units.
You have some good ideas. It is fun to think about what could have happened if N&W put more effort into us.
