Dave, The most pressing question is how you knew to look us up here on the Detailer? lol...
We do appreciate your taking time to communicate with us directly and it's great to see someone choosing to manufacture here in the states.

I like cannon and company parts I can take a old Athren blue box locomotive do a little to it and not empty the bank and his customer service is top of the line. The only other thing I would like to see him do is carry details west parts so I could do a one stop shop.

I have the laser set up and I am working out the various power and speed settings for the various thicknesses of styrene. Since the laser beam has a kerf just like a saw. All the drawings I used to make the demo parts that I showed at Cocoa Beach, need to be modified. Those were done as a test at the distributor for the laser before I bought it. They were files I had drawn to the finished size, the laser follows the line, but with the kerf the outside dimensions are small and the inside dimensions are large. So that takes some time to correct the drawing files. i hope to have something better to show in a couple weeks at the WPM meet in San Bernardino on April 13. Maybe even something to sell. As with all Cannon products we never collect money for products that are not available. I'll post an announcement when I have something available.

If we only had short doors for under the radiators on the 50/60 series units!! Cutting the tall doors ( even if the correct width ones are available) is tedious!!!!

I talked to Dave. He just got back from vacation, and as all people who work and run a business, he's busier than a one legged man at an a** kicking contest. He's working on the freight car sides right now.
