I don't know what made me think of this now, but if you are even in need of class light markers in the future, try "tippet rings". They are a fly fishing product used for joining sections of leader material (line) to one another. I picked up 20 for under $2 on ebay a few weeks ago (for fishing). You would want 1 mm or smaller.

Hmm, I'll have to look into that. Mr. Dan What's wrong with factory numberboards on cab. They are too small , really ? You enlarged it , how much ? They seemed a little small height-wise relative to the rest of the cab (although I could be wrong. I've heard some people mention the Atlas cab is a bit taller/rounded than the prototype which may have affected the look), and too rounded at the corners. Since I was going to redo the class lights (they were offset to the sides as opposed to centered above the numberboards like they should be) I figured I'd address the numberboards too. I just made them a touch bigger, but squared off the edges more. www.railpictures.ca/?attachment_id=5162

Dan, Thanks for the tip on the Cal-Scale pilots. Set up an assembly line with mine. Already added the spacers. tomorrow I'll recontour the spacers.
