Hello all... Here's some shot of my Bachmann S4 kitbash to a CN S7. Not as easy as I thought it was going to be... The S4 needed the rivets filed off it, the louvered doors removed, the Alco side slider windows converted to standard 2pane windows, the long hood end needed a RS18 top roof edge, numberboards and sander doors too. Large turbo stack, thicker roof hatches and some details added. I still have to cut open the carbody filters and finish the door hinges and latches. The only thing unchanged is the deck down. All this done and I realize CN had 3 S7s with the original S4 style body! Grrrrrr! Oh well, no challenge there...

That's coming along very nicely !
On a side note - I couldn't help but notice your working area. How come it is, no matter how big your bench is, you always seem to end up working in eight square inches of space at the edge of the bench ! ;D
Mark.

Holy mackerel Sean, looks like you are better stocked than my local (100 miles away) hobby shop is!
Looks like you have a pretty good music collection, too. I like listening to Floyd when I am building. LOL
Cool man.

I've always said I was going to build a CN switcher someday, between you and Eric, I think it's safe to say that there's a model of every type now.
What make is that autorack in the display case? Nicest bi-level I've ever seen.

I like the large bench with a small area to work, I'm the same way but when I'm on the road I cram everything into a briefcase & I try to find a table to work at.

Grrrrr! So Eric, should I stop my build?
Use the Bachmann cab, as it has no rivets on it.

Again off topic, but I just noticed you have a box for a CF101 Voodoo on your shelf. Any idea if they still make those? I want one now to sit beside my Avro Arrow.
Eric, I might be interested in some of those cab faces also, hope all is better now

Some progress; door hinges and latches on, reworked radiator top and some of the finer details added. Finally getting some progress on the S13 too!
